The match between Spurs and West Ham has been moved from Sunday December 31st to Thursday Janiary 4th (K.O. 8pm) to allow maximum attendance at the match.

The fixture had originally been provisionally scheduled for Sunday 31 December.
However, despite significant work by all stakeholders, the Safety Advisory Group could only recommend a maximum crowd of 43,000. This was due to transport issues, primarily at local tube stations whose resources were being deployed elsewhere across London on New Year’s Eve.
Following extensive discussions between all parties, a decision has been taken to move the fixture into the New Year so more supporters, home and away, can attend the game.

The match was actually due to be played on Saturday 30th Dec & not New Years Eve like specified above. No matter as Thursday 4th is better in my opinion as less of the hooligan fans which both teams have bother to turn up during week day dark & cold evening matches!
Martin, you may recall when Tottenham were moving to Wembley that Butt promised the "integrity of Wembley" would be upheld and that the conditions would include that no cup games could be played at Wembley except the Semi Finals and Final.
Today's FA Cup Draw (http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/42227661) seems to suggest this position was false:
"In the pick of the other ties, AFC Wimbledon will travel to Wembley to take on Tottenham."
